[M3-S4] The crossing: damage sprite, THD.exe window, landing #51

Open

Description

@arudaev

User story

As a player, I want touching an anomaly to crash the game on purpose, so that changing worlds is funny and cheap.

Acceptance criteria

  • Touch → hit sprite → freeze → an old Windows-style window "THD.exe has stopped responding." [OK]
  • Act presses OK → cut → land in the next place; the damage sprite finishes there
  • One reusable sequence (used again by Jenny's ram in M4); real text rendered by the game, not art

Design and references

02 – Crossing is cheap · the anomaly-language direction image. Never cut.

Dependencies

Needs the hurt sheet. Suggested owner: Alexander (pipeline, art, scenes, deploy).

Verification

Trigger it from the pond and from a debug key in Rusty Creek.

    Reopened: #115 merged the reusable crossing sequence and window only. Still open: the pond trigger, the hit sprite and finishing the damage animation after landing (need the hero #27/#31 and the Hidden Garden scene #50); they plug into onLand.
