Fix the current CV and paper experience; unpublish research synthesis until RSATB release

The author wants the academic profile to make the progression from scalable atomistic/electronic calculations to device-level TCAD, coupled multiphysics and circuits obvious, make the CV accessible without knowing its URL, and remove the premature cross-project review from public search.

Site + navigation fixes

  • Both CV versions use the source-grounded cross-scale positioning from the September 2026 Hetao Faculty CV: learned atomic/electronic models → observable-level quantum physics and transport → device TCAD, multiphysics and circuit-aware simulation. QTCAD experience mentions coupling of FEM electrostatics, atomistic TB, time-dependent dynamics and superconducting/circuit quantities without claiming a unified production platform or publishing confidential benchmarks.
  • Add a distinctive CV file icon + bordered 'CV' pill to every lamp-style page's top navigation, with an explicit /zh/cv/ counterpart and mobile wrap/legibility. A separate Academic CV shortcut now appears directly in the homepage hero.
  • The CV bibliography provides explicit Original paper / preprint and Research note links for each paper.
  • All existing /publication/... URLs now use a new oil-lamp publication layout rather than the retired AcademicPages single layout. Permalinks are unchanged; title, author, venue, date, original published link and site citation remain, with preserved Google Scholar/Highwire citation_* tags, DOI and ScholarlyArticle JSON-LD. Existing external backlinks therefore remain valid.
  • Fix outdated README description and expand built-site checks for visible CV links, cross-scale wording, direct DOI links and modern paper page markup.

Publish boundary requested by the author

  • Remove both learned-hamiltonians-to-observables guide source pages from _pages/, both research indexes, and the homepage feature link.
  • With pages absent from the build, Jekyll no longer publishes them into the public sitemap or research JSON; the URLs should return the site's useful custom 404 rather than an unrelated redirect.
  • Tests explicitly block accidental exposure of those paths. Do not re-publish before RSATB is public.
  • The draft remains retrievable from previous Git history / the merged PR Connect learned Hamiltonians to scalable observables in bilingual research guide #9. Note that GitHub history is public: this patch removes current website exposure, not historical Git commits or third-party caches. Re-evaluate Search Console removal only if those exact URLs were indexed.

Review

  1. Confirm Pages-compatible Jekyll build + scholarly SEO audit pass; inspect CV hero, global CV nav (mobile), and one paper detail.
  2. On both CV language versions, click a title to visit a same-theme paper page, then follow the labeled Original paper link to the publisher. Confirm that the paper's exact DOI, original authors and venue are retained.
  3. Check the guide URLs are absent from /sitemap.xml, /research.json, homepage and both research indexes.
  4. Confirm CV and existing paper permalinks remain canonical and the Google Search Console verification HTML is untouched.

The reference CV's personal phone number is not added anywhere. The prior PDF is a reference, not an uploaded public site artifact. No unpublished RSATB algorithm or scientific finding is added.

Verified Jekyll QA

Run 38190307231 passed on ba83532: the Pages-compatible build succeeded and 419 rendered-site assertions passed (10 public research notes, 11 paper records). The deleted two-language guide, CV entry points, correct source links, updated paper detail theme, and canonical/scholarly metadata are covered. Both withheld URLs currently return URL is unknown to Google in the GSC Inspection API; no verified indexed result needs an emergency removal. Final publication still requires merging this draft PR.
