feat: control stats + bulk changes endpoint for integrations - #375
Control stats rollup (control_stats, hourly buckets that are never trimmed) recorded from ControlSender and the live control gateway, plus GET /1/users/self/stats with received/given breakdowns per shocker, controller and day.
POST /1/integrations/control-stats/changes for first-party services: takes { since?, userIds[] } (max 1000) and returns lifetime received/given totals only for requested users whose stats changed since the cursor; omitting since returns all requested users (initial sync). Change detection uses the existing (owner_user_id, bucket) / (controller_user_id, bucket) indexes with a 5 min lookback to cover buffered live control flushes, so no extra column is needed.
New ControlStatsRead automation token type (+ enum migration) gates the integrations endpoint (403 otherwise).
Used by the Discord bot to keep profile widgets in sync with one request per tick: OpenShock/DiscordBot#89.
Test plan
ControlStatsTests (6) and new ControlStatChangesTests (3) pass: 403 without/with wrong token type, initial sync incl. users without stats, cursor only reports recently active users with lifetime totals.
Admin UI (Frontend) can select the new ControlStatsRead type when creating automation tokens.
POST /1/integrations/control-stats/changes returns the lifetime totals of the
requested users whose stats changed since a cursor, so a service like the
Discord bot can keep many users in sync with one request per tick instead of
polling each user. Gated by the new ControlStatsRead automation token type.

📝 Walkthrough
The changes add hourly control-stat persistence and collection for standard and live controls. They add authenticated self-service statistics and a capability-gated integration endpoint for initial and cursor-based user totals.
Changes: Control activity statistics
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Store and aggregate hourly statistics Common/OpenShockDb/Models/ControlStat.cs, Common/OpenShockDb/Models/ControlStatBatch.cs, Common/OpenShockDb/OpenShockContext.cs, Common/OpenShockDb/Queries/ControlStatQueries.cs, Common/Migrations/*, Common/OpenShockDb/Enums/AutomationTokenType.cs, Common/OpenShockDb/Models/{User,Shocker}.cs, API.IntegrationTests/Tests/ControlStatsTests.cs
Adds hourly statistic and batch-marker models, database mappings and migration, plus delta merging, upsert, and idempotent batch application. Integration tests cover aggregation, deleted shockers, and retries.
Record and flush control activity Common/Services/ControlSender.cs, Common/Services/ControlStats/ControlStatsAccumulator.cs, Common/Services/BatchUpdate/*, Common/Websocket/WebsockBaseController.cs, Common/Hubs/PublicShareHub.cs, LiveControlGateway/Controllers/*, LiveControlGateway/LifetimeManager/*, Common.Tests/Services/ControlStatsAccumulatorTests.cs, API.IntegrationTests/Tests/ControlStatsTests.cs
Standard and live control paths now record deltas. The live path records after a successful websocket send. BatchUpdateService buffers and applies batches, and can recover or park pending batches.
Adds the self statistics endpoint with time-zone and date-range handling, totals and breakdowns. The integration tests cover date grouping, validation errors, authentication, and response details.
Adds a capability-gated endpoint that returns initial totals or selects requested users with recent updates using a cursor. Tests cover authorization, cursor boundaries, and late writes.

`DateTimeKind.Unspecified` is interpreted as UTC instead of converted using the

UTC before calculating `from` with `ControlStatDelta.ToBucket`.
Review comments at @Common/OpenShockDb/Queries/ControlStatQueries.cs:
- Around line 78-79: Update the persistence flow in UpsertControlStatsAsync so
buffered deltas are not discarded when their shocker is deleted before flush.
Preserve the owner identity with each delta and persist it without requiring the
shocker/device joins to succeed, or ensure pending deltas are flushed before
deletion; retain the existing lifetime-total behavior.
Review comments at @LiveControlGateway/LiveControlStatsService.cs:
- Around line 66-69: Update the flush and retry flow in LiveControlStatsService
to assign each batch a stable identity and persist its application marker
atomically with the totals upsert. Ensure retries reuse the same identity so a
batch already committed is not applied twice, while failed batches remain
retryable.
- Line 53: Update the shutdown flow in ExecuteAsync so a failed final Flush does
not leave deltas only in the process-local _pending buffer; persist them durably
across restarts or keep shutdown active until delivery is confirmed. Preserve
pending deltas when delivery fails.

- Buffer live control stats in BatchUpdateService instead of a dedicated
LiveControlStatsService
- Rename GET /1/users/self/stats to /1/users/self/control-stats and put it
behind a control-stats concurrency limiter
- Resolve the requested date range to UTC in the time zone validation query
so the range filters hit the bucket index instead of converting every row
- Treat a changes cursor without offset as UTC instead of server local time
- Pass the controlling user id as nullable to ControlSender instead of
comparing against Guid.Empty
- Squash the ControlStatsRead enum migration into AddControlStats
- Document the accepted stat loss and change-detection edge cases

instead, define and expose that contract clearly rather than presenting it as
activity sent to shockers.

- Carry the owner with each delta and left join shockers, so live activity
of a shocker deleted before the flush is kept instead of dropped
- Apply live control batches exactly once: each batch keeps its id across
retries and is marked applied in the same transaction as its deltas
- Park batches the final flush on shutdown couldn't apply in Redis, any
instance claims and applies them on its next flush
- Detect changes for integrations by a new updated_at column instead of
the hourly bucket, so late writes into old buckets are still reported
- Clamp the changes lookback so a cursor at DateTime.MinValue no longer
throws
- Only count live control ticks once they have been written to the hub's
websocket, via a send-confirming SendControl on the hub controllers

Adds persistent control statistics across the API and live gateway, with account-level reporting and bulk synchronization for first-party integrations.
Changes:
Records hourly activity rollups with buffered live-control writes and retry tracking.
Adds personal statistics and capability-gated integration endpoints.
- Refuse batches older than a 30 day replay lifetime and only prune batch
markers after it, so a marker can't expire while its batch may still be
retried
- Read parked batches from Redis without removing them and remove each
one only after it was applied, discarding malformed entries one by one
- Keep offering unapplied batches to the database and Redis for up to 20s
on shutdown, logging them for manual recovery if neither takes them
- Store each live control frame as one immutable record so the command
and its stats are always built from the same frame
- Record users whose stats rows get deleted in control_stat_removals via
a statement level trigger, and report them from the changes endpoint
- Use 15 minute buckets so local days start on a bucket boundary in every
time zone, including half and quarter hour offsets
This endpoint aggregates lifetime history for up to 1,000 users but does not enable the control-stats concurrency limiter. Concurrent integration requests can therefore run these queries without the cap applied to the self-stats endpoint. Apply the same policy here to limit simultaneous lifetime queries.
…urrency
Apply the control-stats concurrency limiter to the integration changes endpoint, and propagate a deadline through shutdown database writes so a stalled database still leaves time to park control stat batches in Redis.
