No response
Expected behaviour
mesa-vdpau should be at version 25.3.3 to match all other mesa packages (mesa, mesa-dri, mesa-vulkan-radeon, etc.) which were updated to 25.3.3.
Actual behaviour
mesa-vdpau is at version 25.1.9 while all other mesa packages are at 25.3.3. This version mismatch causes dmabuf import failures in KWin on Wayland, leading to graphical corruption and session instability
Steps to reproduce
Install mesa-vdpau on a system where mesa is at version 25.3.3
Run `xbps-query -l | grep -E 'mesa|vdpau'
Observe that mesa-vdpau is at 25.1.9 while all other mesa packages are at 25.3.3
Launch a KWin Wayland session — repeated dmabuf import failures appear in the session log and the session becomes unstable

I also am seeing a version miss-match.

mesa 25.3.0 removed VDPAU support from the open source drivers so it should be removed.

Yep he is right and to get the same functionality your will have to install other libraries and configure a variable.

I had to set my variable to
export VDPAU_DRIVER=va_gl
since i use amd and I put it in /etc/profile.d/vdpau.sh
then vdpauinfo worked for me
