Remove Ko-fi and Discord memberships in-app to reduce confusion - #2193
Conversation
…venueCat Membership pitches and the AI paywall open the plan picker instead of linking to Ko-fi or the Discord shop. Play installs buy through RevenueCat and Play Billing; other installs use Stripe checkout without signing in first. Pitches stop once any paid tier is active.
…failure text The launch and warm pitches wait for the account tier to load, the plan picker closes for members, RevenueCat is logged in with the account id on every start, and a Play path with no products says so.
The old Settings row that linked to Ko-fi now opens the plan picker and hides for members. On Play installs the launch pitch shows the Play price of the Basic plan instead of a fixed dollar amount.

Adds the new membership, checkout and Play strings to every locale, moves the priced plan labels into string resources, and restores the line that tells Discord and Ko-fi subscribers to connect Discord.

Restore the pending debug report after opening plans.
When a Discord report returns Forbidden, the handler hides debugReportState. This subscribe action then clears debugPaywallReason, but neither plan completion nor plan dismissal restores the report. A user who buys a plan cannot send the pending report from this flow. Restore the report’s compose phase when the plan picker closes, and retry submission only after the plan is active.

Recheck the launch pitch after the account tier loads.
If the account tier is still loading when Home first appears, Membership.canPitch() is false because tierKnown() is false. This LaunchedEffect(Unit) does not run again when Membership.refresh() finishes, so the launch pitch is skipped. Make the pitch check observe tier readiness or await the refresh before deciding.

Show an error if the Play subscriptions page cannot open.
If openAccountUrl returns false, this branch closes without feedback. The existing portal branch handles that result. Set portalMessage to the failure message when the Play link cannot open.

Clear guestDeviceCode only after the sign-in handling finishes.
guestDeviceCode is the key of this LaunchedEffect. Line 180 clears it before the suspending AccountApi.fetchAccount() call on line 181. When poll.account is null, fetchAccount() suspends. Compose then recomposes and cancels this effect because its key changed. The CancellationException skips currentOnCheckoutReturn() and planActive().
pollDeviceSignIn returns SignedIn(null) when the response has no account object. In that case, a guest who paid stays on the checkout screen. Nothing shows the plan as active.
Do the work first, then clear the key.

Do not report activation until Play sync succeeds.
AccountApi.syncPlay() returns ApiResult<Account>, but this branch ignores the result and calls planActive() for every successful RevenueCat purchase. If synchronization fails, the account is not updated while the dialog still reports an active plan.
Handle only ApiResult.Success as activation:
Suggested sync handling
- AccountApi.syncPlay()
- planActive()
+ when (AccountApi.syncPlay()) {
+ is ApiResult.Success -> planActive()
+ else -> SnackbarManager.show(
+ context.getString(R.string.support_plan_pending),
+ )
+ }A failed account fetch does not prove that RevenueCat is anonymous because a previously linked RevenueCat identity may still exist. When no identity is already linked, retry or complete fetchAccount() before purchase, then call PlayBilling.linkAccount(result.data.id). The dialog cannot obtain an account id from account when the initial fetch failed and AccountApi.account is still null.
