eliminate SUPER_DB env and utilize only attach - #7519

This commit removes the SUPER_DB environment so that super db now relies exclusively upon the db attach command or -attach flag. We also removed the XDG integration. When we reintroduce Desktop, we can revisit how all of this works. A model where the super command and Desktop app share the attachment state (which may include nickanmes) might be preferable.
