Stacked on supabase/postgres#2424. Adds a NixOS test that checks the site profile update is idempotent and that a rollback restores the original state.
The
site-roundtripcheck runssite-profile-roundtripin a VM:m0with a previous site env installed.--setthe new site env and runactivate. Capturem1. Them0tom1diff is saved asupdate.diff.m2must equalm1.deactivateif the profile ships one, thennix-env --rollback.m3must equalm0.site-profile-sanityafter the update and after the rollback. The manifest comes from
testinfra/manifest-snapshot.shandmanifest-diff, copied from supabase/postgres#2447. The only change is aMANIFEST_EXCLUDESvariable. Expect a small merge conflict. Each script is a
.shfile wrapped by a Nix package:manifest-snapshot,manifest-diff,site-profile-sanity, andsite-profile-roundtrip.The roundtrip drops lines that change by design: the store, the nix db, generation links,
gcroots/auto, and sysctl.Run with:
Limits:
m0is a stand-in previous site env, not the latest AMI.activatehas no state yet, so the idempotence and rollback checks pass trivially until it does.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
