I started writing PHP in 2001 and joined Unister as their first employee in 2003 — one of Germany's early internet venture builders. Been in startups ever since.

Shipped production code with CakePHP, Yii, Zend, Phalcon, and Symfony before settling on Laravel in 2013 and never looking back.

Along the way, I built WTL Startup Studio in Germany from scratch and scaled it to 35+ people. We've shipped tech for 40+ startups — e-commerce, marketplaces, sales software, middleware, data pipelines, and products for the energy sector. I led tech for Rocket Internet ventures in Berlin as Project CTO and worked as a freelance PHP expert for Project A Ventures on new ventures in Berlin.
