Integrate file toggling into the diff stat lines instead of displaying a separate file list comment block in the commit buffer. Deselected files are now marked with '#- ', and deleting a file line also excludes it from the commit. In addition, handle file renames across diff stat comments properly, allow file toggling during amend operations against the original HEAD, disallow file deselection during pure regenerate mode, and ensure proper revert handling on abort or error. Merge the commit file selection list directly into the diff stat comments in the commit buffer, allowing files to be toggled with or excluded by deleting their lines.
Additionally, track the original HEAD during amend operations to reliably revert changes if the commit is aborted or fails, add --no-index to the fallback git apply command, and expand test coverage.
