Talos Linux for AI and Talos Cupar are now announced (AI release), so their homepage cards go live as coming soon: not clickable, no docs yet.

  • New AI row with Talos Linux for AI (open source) and Talos Cupar (commercial). Cupar is the announced name for what the config called Athena.
  • The lede now names private AI, since the page shows that domain.
  • Card descriptions follow the press-release wording.

Talos Director is no longer here: #802 publishes its docs, and the live card comes from its product nav.

Homepage-only: docs.json is unchanged. Touches the same block as #785, and both this and #802 regenerate index.mdx, so whichever merges second needs make docs.json rerun.

… coming soon

All three were announced by press release on September 30 and October 1.
Director joins the Hypervisor row, and a new AI row carries Talos Linux for
AI and Talos Cupar (renamed from Athena). The lede now names private AI.

📋 Automated documentation review

An automated pass runs on documentation changes in every PR. The items below are suggestions to consider — advisory, not a merge gate.

Reviewed commit f83cdb5 · 🔴 1 critical · 🟡 1 warning(s) · ⚪ 0 notice(s)

  • 🔴 public/index.mdx:83 — Hand-edit to a generated file: these changes will be reverted and CI will fail
    • Why: public/index.mdx is generated by tools/docs-gen from the homepage block in common.yaml, where the lede is unchanged and the ai family is still commented out, so make docs.json overwrites the new AI section and lede edits. CI runs make docs.json-local followed by git diff --exit-code, which will fail on this PR.
    • Fix: Update common.yaml instead: set homepage.lede to the new sentence on line 154, uncomment the ai family at lines 191-204, then run make docs.json and commit the regenerated public/index.mdx.
  • 🟡 public/index.mdx:96 — Card names Talos Cupar, but common.yaml configures the commercial AI product as Talos Athena and marks the AI family unannounced
    • Why: The name Cupar appears nowhere else in the repository; common.yaml:201 declares Talos Athena with different descriptions, and common.yaml:191 says the AI family is unannounced and must stay commented out until announcement day. Publishing an unannounced product name on the public homepage is irreversible, and I could not verify from this repo whether the AI line or the Cupar name is public.
    • Fix: Confirm the announcement, then rename the card in common.yaml (- title: "Talos Cupar") inside the uncommented ai family and regenerate, rather than editing index.mdx.

Notices, and the reviewer's full report, are in the run's doc-accuracy-report artifact.
