You could add a word about global stats being available from taginfo.openstreetmap.org and why combinations of local stats as collected by this script are useful.

The script published by @woodpeck in #153 (comment) is useful for other decisions related to tagging. Therefore, I added command line options, more features and some documentation. I would like to add it to this repository in order to be discoverable by members who might need it one day.
