Why
Mindfields PHX depends on Excontainers and is upgrading to Gestalt 2.x. Excontainers currently requires Gestalt
~> 1.0, which prevents the downstream dependency graph from resolving and blocks that upgrade.Change
~> 1.0 or ~> 2.0.Existing consumers can continue using Gestalt 1.x, while consumers such as Mindfields PHX can resolve Gestalt 2.x without replacing Excontainers.
Verification
mix deps.update gestaltresolved Gestalt 2.0.1.mix credopassed.mix format --check-formattedpassed.mix testcompiled and ran with Gestalt 2.0.1. The suite reported 10 failures in Docker connectivity/image pulls/timeouts andExUnit.Server.modules_loaded/0compatibility under local Elixir 1.17.3; no Gestalt-specific failure was reported.
