Where it is not the absolute latest

• React Native 0.87.1: Reanimated 4.5 supports RN 0.83–0.86 only, so 0.86.3 is the highest that works. Expo SDK 57 also targets 0.86.3 and pins React 19.2.3, which matches keeping React.
• react-native-gesture-handler 3.x: a breaking major that Expo 57 doesn't support yet, so the latest 2.x.
• @types/react left with React; @padosoft/config (private registry) left at ^1.2.2.

Other changes

• biome.json schema migrated to 2.5.15. Biome 2.5 now also lints SVG (4 new attribute-order hints in docs-site/assets/favicon.svg; the existing lint errors are unchanged).
• docmd-search 0.1.6 writes its index to docs-site/docs/_docmd-search/, now gitignored.

Verification (local)

• Clean reinstall (bun install); nitrogen 0.37.1 regenerated output differs only in Kotlin @FastNative placement, and the Nitro C++/Kotlin APIs used by the client/transport are unchanged.
• Package typecheck (tsconfig.ci.json) passes; docs check + build pass; README mirror in sync.
• expo install --check warns only about the deliberately chosen versions (screens, reanimated, worklets, gesture-handler, safe-area).
• Not yet verified: the Android build (gh workflow run "Android build" --ref chore/upgrade-deps) and a device run with Nitro 0.37 + RN 0.86 + Reanimated 4.5.

Pre-existing, unrelated: three type-only imports in example/src still use the old name react-native-ecr17.
