Summary

Updates the API documentation to reflect a change to the documents.viewed endpoint in outline/outline#13970.

The endpoint now sorts by the view record rather than the document itself, so the accepted sort values are restricted to an enum:

  • sort — limited to updatedAt or createdAt, defaulting to updatedAt (previously accepted any document column via the generic Sorting schema)
  • direction — defaults to DESC

The shared Sorting schema was left untouched since it is used by many other endpoints; the restricted options are inlined into the documents.viewed request body instead.

Only spec3.yml was hand-edited; spec3.json was regenerated by the pre-commit hook.

Review of other recently merged PRs

Other PRs merged in the last day were reviewed and found to not require documentation changes:

  • #13980 (tighten auth on account settings routes) — restricts passkeys.* and users.updateEmail to AuthenticationType.APP only, making them internal endpoints (not documented).
  • #13981, #13978, #13976, #13975 — client/editor/Sentry fixes with no API schema impact.

the document, limiting the sort field to updatedAt or createdAt with a
