What if the component is initialized, but it's something else than formatted or decimal (could be frmatted). I guess the component should be ignored then

Handle invalid digitsInfo before constructing NumberFormatter.
NumberFormatter.parseDigitsInfo throws for malformed values. The formatted component calls transformFormatted during initial rendering and on value changes. No error boundary protects these calls, so an invalid component or configured digitsInfo can prevent the formatted value from being assigned.
