Summary

  • The Run dialog showed YAML, e.g. 3.0 or [a, b] for every field. It now reads the tree's <SubTree> model: each port, named after a payload entry, gives the field its example (the text after e.g. at the end of its description) and a caption (the rest). The behaviors the tree uses have no say, so building a behavior never changes the dialog.
  • payloadDeclared warns when a tree with such a model reads an entry it does not declare, and adds an info note when a tree reads a payload without one.
  • README and docs/ARCHITECTURE.md updated.

Test plan

  • test.sh: 127 tests pass, with new tests for the hints and the rule.
  • The StepIt Commander's objectives (kineticsystem/stepit-commander) give the expected hints, and validate with no error nor warning.

The Run dialog showed "YAML, e.g. 3.0 or [a, b]" for every field. It now
reads the tree's <SubTree> model: each port, named after a payload entry,
gives the field its example, the text after "e.g." at the end of its
description, and a caption, the rest of it. The behaviors the tree uses
have no say, so building a behavior never changes the dialog.

A tree with such a model is warned about an entry it reads without
declaring it; a tree that reads a payload without one gets an info note.
