The <Description> is the blurb shown on the nuget.org page, and it read:

Reflection based fast protocol converter: converts raw bytes (e. g. from a hardware device) to an instance of a class or vice versa.

"Reflection based" describes exactly what this major version removed. Both conversion directions run through compiled accessors now; there is no reflection left in the hot path.

The new text says what the package does and what it costs, because that is what somebody deciding whether to take the dependency reads first:

Fast binary protocol converter: describe a frame with attributes on a POCO and convert raw bytes, for example from a hardware device or a socket, into an instance and back. Compiled accessors instead of reflection, so a 38 byte frame reads in 59 ns and writes in 56 ns, and nothing at all is allocated per message when you read into an instance you keep and write into a buffer you own. Little and big endian at the same speed, fields and properties, ReadOnlySpan and IBufferWriter overloads.

Found during the release pre-flight, packing locally against a v4.0.0 tag and reading the generated nuspec. The rest of the metadata checked out: version 4.0.0 on both packages, symbols, README embedded, Apache-2.0, correct commit, and the author encoding is genuinely UTF-8 despite how it renders in a terminal.

That sentence is the blurb on the nuget.org page, and it described exactly the
thing this major version removed: the hot path has no reflection left in it,
both directions run through compiled accessors.

The new text says what the package does and what it costs, since that is what
somebody deciding whether to take the dependency wants to see first.
