πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» About

I am a second-year Computer Science and Engineering student at the American University of Beirut Mediterraneo in Cyprus. I build web applications and systems software, with a background in competitive robotics.

With my robotics teams

β˜€οΈ Summer 2026

Nepheli AI internship
15 July to 15 August 2026

I contributed to optimizing the Hermeez Agent, working with the team on mechanisms intended to improve precision, recall, and F1 scores in AI systems. I also gained practical experience with Amazon Web Services.

Alongside the internship, I worked on low level embedded systems and completed a robotics project using PID, LQR, MPC, and machine learning. Balancing this work taught me to plan tasks and allocate time across projects.

Coursework and independent study

I completed Andrew Ng's Machine Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.AI and Stanford Online in September 2026.

I also completed Claude 101 through Anthropic's Claude Academy in June 2026.

My independent study includes MIT OpenCourseWare on YouTube, covering statistics, linear algebra, probability, and calculus for AI. I have also studied AI literacy, embedded systems design, and robotics.

πŸš€ Projects

ATOPOS

Health measurement research demo

Compares 22 measurements with a person's history and a reference cohort, then explains what contributes to a deviation score. The interactive demo uses generated profiles and publishes evaluation results and limitations. These simulations do not establish clinical effectiveness.

Christiana Tosonidou also contributed to ATOPOS.

MaCake

Adaptive bandwidth shaping for macOS

A Swift tool that adapts the cake-autorate controller to macOS. It adjusts dummynet pipes as network latency changes. The repository documents the measured delay improvement and throughput tradeoff. It ports the controller, not Linux's CAKE queue discipline.

Robotics and control systems

A completed project exploring line following and adaptive cruise control with PID, LQR, MPC, and machine learning.

Error-correcting codes

An interactive web simulator for Hamming codes. It demonstrates how encoded data can recover from a single bit error, connecting linear algebra with data integrity.

A closer look at the recent work

ATOPOS lets users explore generated profiles, follow trajectories, and compare a simulated change with the same profile without that change. Its published evaluations cover detection performance, false alarms, and the limits of the original early detection hypothesis.

In one recorded MaCake Starlink comparison, added p90 delay fell from 55.5 ms to 16.0 ms, while throughput fell from 278.52 to 177.51 Mbit/s. Those results describe that test, not every connection.
