// Example: File validation
function validateZipFile(file) {
// Check file type
if (!file.type.includes('zip') && !file.name.endsWith('.zip')) {
throw new Error('Invalid file type');
}
// Check file size (10MB limit)
if (file.size > 10 * 1024 * 1024) {
throw new Error('File too large');
}
return true;
}// Example: Path traversal prevention
function sanitizePath(userPath) {
const path = require('path');
return path.resolve('/', userPath).substring(1);

- Run
npm auditbefore submitting PRs - Validate all user inputs
- Test with malicious file uploads
- Review dependencies for known vulnerabilities
- Follow secure coding guidelines
- Enable HTTPS
- Configure Content Security Policy
- Regular security updates
- Monitor for security advisories
- Backup and recovery procedures
