Summary

On a hot topic page, one continuous graph line ran through every commit in the list, as if they were a single thread. These commits have nothing to do with each other, so each one now ends in its own dot, the same way the home feed draws its commits.

Changes

  • SearchResults takes a new isStandalone prop. When it is set, each CommitCard gets endsWithDot and no previousLane or graphAfter, which is how commit-feed.tsx draws its cards.
  • The hot topic page (headline/show.tsx) sets isStandalone. The search page still joins its results with one line for now.

Walkthrough

SearchResults adds an optional isStandalone prop. The headline page enables it, so each result renders with its own ending dot and without neighboring-commit graph props.

Changes: Standalone headline results

Layer / File(s) Summary
Standalone card rendering
resources/js/components/commit-search-results.tsx, resources/js/pages/headline/show.tsx
SearchResults adds isStandalone, which defaults to false. When true, each result renders with endsWithDot and without neighboring-commit graph props. The headline page passes isStandalone.

Full details: Title check

Explanation

The title "fix: end each hot topic commit with its own dot" matches the main change. The PR adds an optional isStandalone prop to SearchResults. When set, each CommitCard receives endsWithDot and drops the previous-lane and graph-after props. The headline show page passes this prop, so each hot topic commit appears as a separate graph entry. The title names the hot topic page and the dot behavior, which are the core of the change. It is specific and concise, and it does not mention the new prop, but that detail is not needed.

Full details: Docstring Coverage

Explanation

Docstring coverage is 0.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 2 functions across 2 files.

Resolution

Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.

@xHeaven, these look good to me. One dot per commit, drawn the way commit-feed.tsx does it, fits these lists better than a single chained line, since the commits aren't a thread.
