v0.15.2 is only published as a Docker schema 1 manifest, which Docker has removed support for, so the base image can no longer be pulled.
node-exporter v1.12.1 is a single multi-arch manifest, so the per-architecture image.arm/image.arm64 slots are no longer needed.
carlosedp/node_exporter:v0.15.2-arm is only published as a Docker schema 1 manifest and can no longer be pulled. node-exporter v1.12.1 is a single multi-arch manifest that PLATFORMS now builds directly.

The per-architecture upstream images are gone; the architectures are built from the single multi-arch upstream manifest listed in PLATFORMS.
go.mod declares go 1.24, so `go mod download` fails in the golang:1.23 builder image.
Debian 11 has moved to archive and the package pool entries the bullseye base image points at are gone, so every apt-get install in that stage 404s. bookworm also matches the bookworm based golang:1.21 builder the CGO binary is linked against.
golang:1.20.0 is bullseye based and its apt metadata points at package versions that have been removed from the Debian pool, so libsystemd-dev cannot be fetched.

Debian 11 has moved to archive and the package pool entries the bullseye base image points at are gone, so every apt-get install in that stage 404s. bookworm-v1.0.4 also matches the bookworm based golang:1.21 builder the CGO binary is linked against, and still publishes linux/arm/v7, which this image builds for. bookworm-v1.0.9 dropped that architecture.

The scheduled
Build All Container Imagesworkflow has been red on every run because four of the images can no longer be built at all. Each failure has an unambiguous cause.node-exporter-- unpullable base imagev0.15.2(2018) was only ever published as a Docker schema 1 manifest, and Docker removed schema 1 support, so the image cannot be pulled any more. The pinned version moves tov1.12.1.Upstream
v1.12.1is a single multi-arch manifest (linux/amd64,linux/arm64,linux/arm/v7,linux/ppc64le,linux/riscv64,linux/s390x), so the per-architecture slots thatimage.armandimage.arm64used to fill --carlosedp/node_exporter:v0.15.2-armand:v0.15.2-arm64, which are unpullable for the same reason -- are replaced by aPLATFORMSfile. The build workflow reads it and builds the architectures with buildx, which is how the other multi-architecture images in this repository are already built.vmhub5_exporter-- builder image older than the modulefails because
go.moddeclaresgo 1.24and the builder image isgolang:1.23. The builder moves togolang:1.26. The final image is unchanged: the binary is still a static build copied intoalpine.node-problem-detector-- base image on an end-of-life DebianDebian 11 (bullseye) has moved to archive, so the package pool entries the base image's
aptmetadata still points at are gone and everyapt-get installin that stage 404s. The base moves tobookworm-v1.0.4. (bookworm-v1.0.9would also fix the apt failures, but it dropped thelinux/arm/v7architecture that this image builds for;bookworm-v1.0.4still publishes it.)This also removes a latent mismatch: the builder stage is
golang:1.21, which is bookworm based, while the runtime stage was bullseye. The CGO build linked against the newer glibc and then ran on the older one.alertmanager-github-receiver-- builder image on an end-of-life DebianSame cause:
golang:1.20.0is bullseye based and its apt metadata points at package versions that have been removed from the Debian pool. The builder moves togolang:1.26. The final image is unchanged (gcr.io/distroless/static).Two images are still broken and are deliberately not touched here, because fixing them is a content decision rather than a version bump:
mkv-auto-- upstream deleted themasterbranch and movedprerequisites.shintomodules/eos-filter-tweaker/, so the clone stage checks out nothing and the wrapper image has nothing to run.transmission-- the Alpinetransmission-daemonpackage no longer provides thetransmissionuser the image expects (chown: unknown user transmission). And the
opencodeimage cannot be pushed to GHCR at all until aGHCR_TOKENrepository secret exists, becauseGITHUB_TOKENmay only publish packages that are linked to this repository.
