Changes

  • New containerbase-cli cleanup tool [--dry-run] command: removes every tool version from /opt/containerbase/tools which isn't linked.
  • An unlinked version is removed with all its child versions. It's kept with all its children when one of them is linked, can't be uninstalled (v1 shell tools, git, root-only tools as user) or is kept for another version.
  • Continues on failures and returns a non-zero code at the end.
  • A dry run of uninstall-tool (and so cleanup tool) no longer sets up the tmp link and base folders, and opens the tool databases read-only.
  • uninstallTool and cleanupTools share the container setup (prepareUninstallContainer).
  • Part of feature request: Integrate cleanup into the install-tool #4362.
