📋 Script Details
Immich Power Tools adds bulk tools to an existing Immich: manage and merge people, fill in missing locations, suggest albums and show library analytics. This addon installs it inside the Immich LXC (ProxmoxVE immich script), reuses Immich's local database and runs it on port 8001.
Built as an addon on purpose: Power Tools reads Immich's PostgreSQL directly; as a separate LXC the Immich DB would have to be exposed on the network.
- Aborts unless
/opt/immich/.env exists, immich-web is active and Immich is 3.0+.
- Reads DB host/port/user/password/name from
/opt/immich/.env; settings in /opt/immich-power-tools_data/.env (survives updates).
- Immich API key optional:
var_immich_api_key or a guarded prompt; without it users log in with their Immich account. With a key set, anyone reaching port 8001 acts as the key owner (warned).
- Node 24 + bun, same Node major as Immich; needs ≥ 4 GB RAM in the LXC for the build.
- Tested against a real Immich 3.2.4 install: install (with and without key), update, uninstall.
