Non-blocking, posted inline:
widen.go:integerAshas no 128-bit arm, andstashgen'sintoKinddoes not reject 128-bit targets. This only becomes a problem if a 128-bit EQL type is added. Rejecting it at generate time would be safer.value_frame.rs: 8- and 16-bit integers are no longer widened. A program generated by an olderstashgencould be refused at seal time. I did not confirm this, so the author should check it and note it in the changelog if it holds.
Noted, no comment posted:
Field.queryvalidates query inputs less thoroughly than the seal path, so the two paths report some errors differently.time.Timeequality terms are truncated to the microsecond. This is documented in a doc comment.- The Go-integer to wire-kind tables are duplicated across several files, which is a refactor candidate.

Every integer width, int128 and uint128, date, timestamp and decimal now flow through the frame sinks as vitaminc leaves, with no new FfiValue variant: FfiValue stays control data. A plan field can declare each kind, equality applies to all of them, ORE and OPE take every integer width, each passed to cllw-ore as its own type, and an order index on a date, timestamp or decimal is refused with OrderTermPending, which names #1236. The value model no longer widens 8- and 16-bit integers to 32 bits. On the Go side record.Kind, gensupport and stashgen gain the same kinds: each integer type seals at its own width, time.Time as a timestamp, and encrypt.Date, Int128, Uint128 and Decimal alias vitaminc's vcvalue types. An integer field stored as an EQL integer type is sealed at the type's kind and converted on the host (ADR-0002). The value_kinds fixture holds the Rust lowering, the Go codec's frames and the generated code to the same bytes. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
…ge checked ADR-0002 has a binding accept any Go integer type for an integer EQL type: one whose every value fits always converts, and a wider one is range checked and refused when a value does not fit. stashgen refused the wider types outright. It now lowers any built-in integer field stored as an integer EQL type at the type's kind, and gensupport's conversion refuses an out-of-range value with ErrEncoding, naming the kind and not the value. encrypt.Int128 and Uint128 are not converted to a narrower kind, and say so. The fake engine follows. testusers.Widened stores a uint8, an int, an int16, a uint32 and an int64 in Profile's integer types under the same columns. The new test opens it back, checks the int16 and uint32 fields store the equality terms Profile's int32 and int64 fields store for the same values, and checks an int64 outside IntegerEq's range is refused. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
The Go README and package docs list the sealed field types and the indexes each takes, the vcvalue-backed encrypt.Date, Int128, Uint128 and Decimal with their constructors, how equality normalises (every integer width, decimal scale, timestamps to the microsecond), and that an order index on a decimal, date or timestamp waits for #1236. The EQL tables and the stashgen README say which Go integers each integer EQL type takes. The fixtures README documents value_kinds.json. Both CHANGELOGs record the additions and one breaking change: an int8, int16, uint8 or uint16 field now seals at its own width, and a value sealed before as an int32 does not open under the regenerated declaration, because the engine checks the stored leaf's kind. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
The mutants gate on the #1144 diff found two survivors. Deleting ope_of's u8 arm went unnoticed because the width test derived a u8 frame's ORE and equality terms but not its OPE term; it now does. Replacing model's admits guard with true is equivalent: vitaminc checks the same thing on every path that reaches it (the frame writer behind Modeled and ModelOnly refuses an inadmissible logical value with the error the guard gives, and ValueFrame::check walks only frames that Frame::parse has validated). It is excluded with that reason, and the guard stays so the model states what it holds. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
…ed method The go-lint job would fail on this branch. gosec G115 flagged the six narrowing conversions in gensupport's integerAs: the `//nolint` sat on the range-check closures, not on the returns that convert. Each return now carries its own, since `ok` is false whenever the value does not fit. goimports wanted stashgen/emit.go's module import in its own group. integerAs's 128-bit arm could not be reached: the only Go types of those kinds are encrypt.Int128 and Uint128, which asKind passes through untouched, and stashgen declares no 128-bit kind for a built-in integer field because no producible EQL type has one. A built-in integer that did reach a 128-bit kind is now refused as not fitting rather than converted through decimal text. record.Kind.Integer had no caller. `golangci-lint run ./...` (2.14.0, the mise pin) reports 0 issues. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
…st's The fixture test compared the record Go seals with the one Rust stored on four terms only. It now compares every term of every field, in both directions (no term missing, none extra): the narrow widths' equality, ORE and OPE terms, the date's equality term and the 128-bit integers' equality terms are now checked too. Ciphertexts are skipped, since each leaf carries a fresh nonce. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
A zero encrypt.Date, a decimal past scale 28 or an instant outside vitaminc's range was refused by the transport codec as "malformed input: vcvalue: invalid date", with no field named. gensupport now validates each such value before it crosses, through vcvalue's own Validate, for Encrypt, a single field's Encrypt and every query method, and wraps the refusal (ErrEncoding) with the field's name as asKind's range refusal is. The error is vitaminc's, which names the type and never the value. stashgen's refusal of a non-scalar sealed field now lists the value types it does accept (time.Time and encrypt's Date, Decimal, Int128, Uint128). Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
… answer encrypt.Date's zero value is not a date: the docs now say a Date field must be set, that a zero one is refused naming the field, and that a sealed field cannot be a pointer (stashgen refuses *encrypt.Date as a composite), so an optional date has no sealed form yet; keep it in an opaque struct or use a sentinel date. Decimal said it opens as it was sealed. A zero has no sign: -0.00 opens as 0.00, at its scale (vitaminc writes zero unsigned). The README's field-type table listed every index a type can store as if each had a query method. It now has both columns: an ore or ope index on text, bytes or a float stores its term, but the engine answers orderings over integers only, so those fields have Eq (and Matches for text) and no Lt. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
…seconds "Host languages" said int8, int16, uint8 and uint16 get their own kinds only when a target names one. A field with no EQL target has no target to pick a kind from; #1144 has Go pick it from the Go type, and an amendment says so, with the mapping for each integer type. The timestamp leaf row allowed chrono's leap-second representation. The vitaminc 0.6 codec refuses it (nanoseconds of 1,000,000,000 or more have no count in any unit; vitaminc-aead's leaf.rs and tags.rs) and requires the instant to lie in chrono's NaiveDateTime range. The row now states that rule. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
`PlanError::FieldType` printed "is not a int8" and "is not a object". The article now follows how the type's name is read: "an" before a, e, i or o, and "a" otherwise, including a name starting with u, which is read as "you" (a uint8, a u32). A unit test pins both kinds of name. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
…e value-kinds fixture `int(math.MinInt32) - 1` overflows `int` on 32-bit targets, so the 386 job could not build the gensupport tests; the out-of-range case uses `int64`. The value-kinds fixture is generated by its own test, like the record and query fixtures beside it, so Biome no longer reformats it. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01BZhkvKLpNtKuzj3HCfMXoL
… a query's operand as a write's asKind converted every integer to a built-in type before a seal, through reflect, so a defined integer type with its own EncryptValue lost it: a write stored the bare value while a query, which passed the value as it was, asked for the encoded one, and the encoder's own refusals were skipped on writes. A value that writes itself now crosses as it is. Field.query now runs each operand through asKind too, so a query and a write of one field take the same conversion and the same range check, and a query outside the field's range is refused naming the field.
…n the code is generated gensupport converts a built-in integer to a kind of 64 bits or fewer only, and intoKind took any integer target, so a field of a 128-bit EQL type would generate, build, and fail on every Encrypt. No producible EQL type has a 128-bit kind today; intoKind now refuses one, and lowering names the field and both kinds.
…sed when it seals too The breaking note named the open path only. A host that sends a narrow leaf for a field declared int32 is now refused with FieldType at seal, where it was widened; Go code generated before still seals, because gensupport converts to the declared width. ValueFrame::of's errors no longer name a 128-bit integer and a date as outside the model.

Summary
Each Go value now reaches the engine as its own kind. Stack Encrypt (our Rust engine) and the Go SDK, which runs it as a WebAssembly guest, can now store, decrypt and query by equality these values:
Before this PR:
int8andint16were widened to 32-bit, so every stored ciphertext and term carried the wrong kind.time.Timecould only be stored inside an opaque struct. The new kinds travel through the engine as vitaminc values, using the frame model from #1245 (#1232).
FfiValuegains no variants.Stacked on #1245.
Changes
Stack Encrypt (
packages/stack-encrypt,dynamic)ValueKindgainsint8,int16,int128,uint8,uint16,uint128,decimal,dateandtimestamp, so a data-plan field can declare each one. The frame value model keeps each integer at its own width, and timestamps at nanosecond precision.1.0 = 1.00);Reason::OrderTermPending, which names Stack Encrypt cannot order floats, dates, timestamps or decimals, and its integer order keys predate ADR-0002: derive every order term over vitaminc-ore #1236. Those order terms wait on cllw-ore/ore-rs releases that implement vitaminc-ore.dynamic::readconverts a query value between kinds only when the conversion is exact. Floats beyond the 128-bit limits, NaN and infinity are refused.PlanError::FieldTypeuses the right article ("an int8", "a uint8").Go (

The query path and decrypt into a narrower Go type are range-checked too.encrypt.Dateis invalid, so a Date field must be set. An optional date can't be sealed today: stashgen supports no sealed pointer fields of any type. The docs suggest an opaque struct or a sentinel date.Ltmethod yet.Breaking (Go SDK, unreleased)
int8,int16,uint8anduint16sealed fields now seal at their own width, where they used to seal as 32-bit.int32/uint32, or re-encrypt. Go SDK:int16is widened toInt32, and there's no way to encrypt a date, timestamp, decimal or 128-bit integer #1144 asks for this, and says the change costs nothing because the SDK is unreleased. Both CHANGELOGs list it under Breaking.Docs
doc.goand the stashgen README list the field types, the indexes and query methods for each, the EQL integer tables, equality normalisation, and the Stack Encrypt cannot order floats, dates, timestamps or decimals, and its integer order keys predate ADR-0002: derive every order term over vitaminc-ore #1236 limit.index=fields.Verification

Go's liveTestQueriesRunAgainstPostgrespassed against a disposablepostgres:17. That test doesn't store the new kinds yet.Open question: timestamp equality resolution
vitaminc-normalize 0.6 truncates a timestamp's equality term to the microsecond. ADR-0002 says microsecond resolution means rounding half-even, which is what PostgreSQL does.
So
.123456999and.123457000get different terms, though Postgres stores both as.123457. A row sealed fromtime.Now()wouldn't be found by a query whose instant came back from a plaintexttimestamptz. This PR follows vitaminc as it is, and pins its terms in the fixture. Stack Encrypt must not shim around vitaminc's encoding. So the fix is either a vitaminc-normalize change to round half-even, or an ADR-0002 amendment that records truncation as the decision. That needs deciding before the Go SDK ships (#1046). Whichever way it goes, the fixture's timestamp terms get re-pinned.
