• Fix dot search ranking the worst matches first. Scores are now positive dot products, which changes the result filenames and GUI labels.
• Fix search returning one result too few; a one-window database returned nothing.
• Fix segments not pairing result files kept in a separate --results folder tree.
• Apply --max_conf in segment extraction; it was ignored in the random and confidence modes.
• Accept upper-case result file extensions such as .TXT.
• Make the required arguments mandatory in the parser: -q, -o, --audio_root for birdnet-search and -i for birdnet-embeddings. Leaving one out now gives a usage error instead of a later crash.
• Fix help text, docstrings and the embeddings example in the docs.
• Add a test for each fix.
