Migrate .simplecov to SimpleCov 1.x API - #3676
Merged
Merged
Conversation
SimpleCov 1.x deprecates add_filter, add_group and track_files in favour of skip, group and cover (same arguments, same behavior). Update the .simplecov config to the new API so coverage runs without deprecation warnings and stays compatible with future SimpleCov releases.

simplecov ~> 1.3recently, so the current.simplecovemits deprecation warnings on every coverage run and will break once the compatibility shims are removed in a future SimpleCov release.Change
.simplecovonly — a 1:1 rename of the three deprecated calls. No behavior change: the same filters, the sameCore/Extensions/Modulesgroups, and the same per-componentCOVERAGE=tracking.Verification
add_filter/add_group/track_filesdeprecation warnings remain.
