style.compositefades a widget and its children as one image, so overlapping shapes keep a uniform opacity. child opacity and disabled opacity still apply, shadows retain their ancestor clips, and layout and input behavior stay the same. temporary layers have explicit size, nesting, and frame limits, checked before accepting a replacement frame.workspace checks and luau fixtures pass. raster tests cover overlap, nested fades, clipped shadows, and filtered images; private wayland tests cover rejected output-scale changes. guarded opengl and vulkan fixtures pass at normal and fractional scales, through valid and rejected reloads.
