release: v1.6.0 [minor]

Cuts v1.6.0. Minor rather than patch: this adds features, not just fixes — a release-notes reader, a Romanian changelog, a Type column, and quality-matched hosted downloads.

Everything here is already merged and tested on main (PRs #26–#29); this PR only stamps the changelog. [minor] is in the title and will be passed as the squash subject, since release.yml greps head_commit.message and a squash merge makes that the PR title.

What ships

Download safety and progress

• the progress bar no longer sticks at 50% on any single-stream download (mp3, pre-merged format, or a hosted override file)
• it's byte-weighted now, so a 1080p download stops crawling then leaping — its audio is ~12% of the bytes but owned half the bar
• a failed download clears the bar instead of leaving it part-filled, which is what made the 403s look like hangs
• the manual Download button no longer deletes last week's video before fetching the new one — the same fix v1.5.1 made to the automatic path, at a call site I missed then

Release notes

• updating across several versions now shows every release you skipped, not just the newest (1.4.0 → 1.5.1 used to hide everything 1.5.0 changed)
• translated into Romanian, following the app's language setting
• Settings → Advanced → Release Notes opens the full history

UI

• the app icon now appears on every window, not just the main one
• updating from the foreground returns to the foreground; a silent tray update stays in the tray and holds the notes until you open it
• folder views gained a Type column, legible at any window width

Overrides

• a hosted override now serves the quality you selected instead of always the largest

Verification

289 tests plus the full dry-run script set, green on all 5 platforms across #26–#29. Beyond unit tests, verified against reality:

• real downloads through the app's own code: 1080p merge, mp3, and a hosted file all run 0→100% and complete
• the two delete-ordering regressions confirmed to fail on the old code, while the "still clears the old video" guard passes on both — so it isn't over-corrected into hoarding
• quality variants fetched from the live manifest: 720p → height 720, 480p → the 720p file, max → 1080p, each audio+video
• both languages rendered under Xvfb and inspected

One known limitation

The first update onto v1.6.0 shows only v1.6.0's notes, because no previous version was ever recorded to compare against. It's cumulative from then on.
