Every docs page loaded its favicons from ttnweb.azureedge.net, the old website's CDN. That host no longer resolves, so the docs had no favicon or touch icon.

Since the cutover (2026-10-09) the docs are served under www.thethingsnetwork.org. www serves the website's own icons, so the head now points at those, root-relative like /consent.js:

Link Path Checked on www
icon 16×16 /favicon.ico 200 image/x-icon
icon SVG /icon1.svg 200 image/svg+xml
icon 512×512 /icon2.png 200 image/png
apple-touch-icon 180×180 /apple-icon.png 200 image/png

These are the same four links as on the website's own <head>.

Checked:

  • hugo -s doc builds clean;
  • every page renders the four links;
  • ttnweb.azureedge.net no longer appears anywhere in the output.

Note: on the bare GitHub Pages host (thethingsnetwork.github.io/docs/) these root paths don't resolve, just like /consent.js. That host isn't public-facing; www is.
