The StraboSpot REST API uses HTTP Basic Auth for authentication. An account can be obtained
by clicking on the "<a href="register">ACCOUNT->REGISTER</a>" link above. Once an account is created, it will need
to be validated by email. When using the StraboSpot REST API, you will use your email address as the username and your
password as entered during registration.
</div>
<!--
<div style="width:100%;border: 1px solid #333333;padding:5px;margin-bottom:10px;">
Please note that the REST API currently uses a somewhat simplified GeoJSON representation of each feature. The features
will eventually require more attributes determined by a set of contrained vocabularies. These will be incorporated soon.
