Index declarations from
textDocument/didChangewhen an edit can affect them, so editors that do not send document symbol, document link, code lens or folding requests still see unsaved declarations. The existing combined feature results are computed during the same AST traversal and cached for subsequent requests. Regression coverage checks immediate declaration and ancestor updates, plus reuse of the cached feature response.
