… again Seat counter: the registration form shows "<left> / <total> seats left" (public GET /api/seats). Admins set both numbers on the admin Registrations tab (GET/PATCH /api/admin/seats; the registration team can only view). The database then moves the count itself: a registration takes a seat, a rejection gives it back, approving changes nothing, never below 0. At 0 the form stops before the payment step. Registering again: staff pick a reason with every rejection; the student sees it on their pass with REGISTER AGAIN, up to 3 registrations per account. Only one registration per user may be pending or confirmed; rejected ones are kept as history. The admin list tags 2nd/3rd attempts with the previous rejection reason. Run supabase/manual/seat_counter_and_reregistration.sql in Supabase before deploying (schema.sql section 17). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
