Documents in the User's Guide what OpenModelica#16954, OpenModelica#16965, OpenModelica#17188 and OpenModelica#17339 added (OpenModelica#17408): - umldiagrams.rst: getClassDiagram and getInstanceDiagram, their formats and options, with Mermaid examples omc generates while the guide is built, and PlantUML renders of a redeclared medium, the PID block and the instance diagram of ChuaCircuit. - propertyprobes.rst: the probe tree, the properties evaluateProbe computes and how CodeProber uses them, with examples on ProbeCircuit.mo and CodeProber screenshots. - omedit.rst: the Class Diagram window. Documents the Calibrate... dialog OMEdit got in OpenModelica#17360 (OpenModelica#17359) in a new "Calibrating an SSP Model" section of the OMEdit chapter (OpenModelica#17408). It links to the Parameter Calibration section of OMSimulator's documentation, which the guide didn't show: omsimulator.rst still included OMSimulatorLua.rst, OMSimulatorPython.rst and SSP.rst, which OMSimulator no longer has, so the page lost its Python API (with the calibration) and gave three include errors. It now includes the pages OMSimulator's own guide has: OMSimulatorPython3.rst instead of the three, plus OMSimulatorGui.rst. Assisted-by: Claude Opus 5.5
The Calibrate... entry of the Libraries Browser menu and the dialog after calibrating the dc_motor SSP of the UQ layered standard use cases (OpenModelica#17408). Assisted-by: Claude Opus 5.5

getClassDiagram, #16938), #16965 (OMEdit Class Diagram window), #17188 (getInstanceDiagram, #17181) and #17339 (getProbeTree/evaluateProbe, #17338) and #17360 (OMEdit Calibrate..., #17359).Purpose
The User's Guide had none of these features. It also didn't show OMSimulator's Python API with its calibration section:
omsimulator.rststill included three OMSimulator pages that no longer exist, which gave three include errors. The scripting API reference lists each function, but not what they are for or how to use them.Approach
umldiagrams.rst, UML Class and Instance Diagrams:Tankspackage. omc generates them while the guide is built, so they always show the current output.Modelica.Blocks.Continuous.PIDwithshowModifiers = false, and the instance diagram ofChuaCircuit.propertyprobes.rst, Property Probes and CodeProber:evaluateProbecomputes.evaluateProbeexamples run onProbeCircuit.mowhile the guide is built.omedit.rst: a new Class Diagram section: how to open the window, its controls and links, with two screenshots.omedit.rst: a new Calibrating an SSP Model section: the Calibrate... dialog and its fields, what it runs and writes, and the command line equivalent, with two screenshots. It links to OMSimulator's Parameter Calibration section for how the fit works.omsimulator.rst: includes the pages OMSimulator's own guide has:OMSimulatorPython3.rstinstead of the removedOMSimulatorLua.rst,OMSimulatorPython.rstandSSP.rst, plusOMSimulatorGui.rst.index.rstafter the Modelica Language Server chapter.Testing
usersguidetarget) against an install of current master. The whole guide builds without warnings (before: the three OMSimulator include errors), all 10 new images are included, and the calibration section links to OMSimulator's Parameter Calibration section. The examples above produced the shown results.cal_01), with the same result as the command line (R = 0.0999684).An AI coding agent (Claude Code) wrote the text and selected and prepared the images; the local doc build above is the testing done.
