Description

Fanvil Linkvil W611W and W620W Wi-Fi phones require semicolon-separated digits when executing call and DTMF commands via Phone Function URLs.

Fanvil support confirmed that each digit must be separated by ; for these models.

Steps to reproduce

Configure a Fanvil Linkvil W611W or W620W phone.

Execute the currently configured call URL:

http://$PHONE_USER:$PHONE_PASS@$PHONE_IP/cgi-bin/ConfigManApp.com?key=$NUMBER;ENTER

Try dialing 1234 using key=1234;ENTER.

Observe that the phone returns HTTP 200 OK but does not initiate the call.

Expected behavior

The phone successfully places the call using the Phone Function URL.

Actual behavior

The phone returns HTTP 200 OK without placing the call.

Fanvil support confirmed that W611W and W620W require semicolon-separated digits for call and DTMF commands.

For example, dialing 1234 requires:

The URL generation logic should be updated to insert ; between digits for these models.

    PRs: nethesis/nethcti-server#371, nethesis/ns8-nethvoice#1099

    Setup: a Fanvil Linkvil W611W or W620W registered to a user's extension, phone web user/password set for that device; a second phone of another Fanvil model (e.g. X-series) for the regression checks. The URLs sent to the phones are logged by nethcti-server (journalctl / podman logs nethcti-server on the NethVoice module).

    Test Case 1 - Call from the CTI on W611W/W620W

    • Set the W611W/W620W as the default device in the CTI and call an internal extension: the phone dials it and the call connects
    • Call an external number (with outbound prefix, if configured): the phone dials the full number
    • The nethcti-server log shows .../cgi-bin/ConfigManApp.com?key=1;2;3;4;ENTER (digits separated by ;)
    • Same check with the CTI connected through NethLink (call request sent via NethLink)

    Test Case 2 - Other actions on W611W/W620W

    • Answer an incoming call from the CTI
    • Hold/unhold and mute/unmute from the CTI
    • DTMF from the CTI keypad during a call (including * and #), e.g. navigating the voicemail menu
    • Hang up / cancel from the CTI

    Test Case 3 - Regression on other Fanvil models

    • Call from the CTI with another Fanvil model as default device: the log shows key=<number>;ENTER (no ; between digits) and the phone dials
    • Answer, hold, mute, DTMF and hang up still work on that phone
    • Click-to-call on a Yealink or Snom phone still works
