Refresh the Python LSP integrations and browser playground for the October maintenance cycle. Update Pyrefly to 1.3.2, ty to 0.0.86, Zuban to 0.10.0 and basedpyright to 1.40.2. Require ty >=0.0.84 for its incremental-analysis security fix and DOMPurify >=3.4.16 for the playground's sanitizer advisory. Regenerate the optional Pyright
maxCodeComplexityconfiguration field, refresh lockfiles and CI setup actions, and update pinned WASM versions/checksums and Monaco 0.57.0.All existing integration behaviors and semantic-token indices remain intact. Record version sources, limitation probes and validation in
docs/internal/MAINTENANCE_2026-10-10.md, and refresh the maintenance runbook. The existing publication workflow will release 0.25.0 after merge and successful CI.Validation: 251 passed / 1 existing ty xfail with basedpyright; 35 passed with Microsoft Pyright separately. Pyright, Ruff, Python formatting, package builds, documentation links and byte-for-byte regeneration passed. npm audit reports no vulnerabilities; WASM checks passed for both engines. Production Chromium checks passed diagnostics, hover, edits, repeated backend switches and concurrency handling with no console/page errors. Raising the DOMPurify override floor preserves the already-tested 3.4.16 artifact.
