parking_lot MutexGuard Sync Send trait documentation and block2 RcBlock::new closure Send Sync requirements
💡 Result:
- **`parking_lot::MutexGuard` (0.12.5):** It is `Sync` only when the protected type `T: Sync`, but it is **not `Send` by default**. `parking_lot` documents an optional `send_guard` feature that changes guard transfer behavior; check your enabled features if you expect `Send`. ([docs.rs](https://docs.rs/parking_lot-napi/latest/parking_lot/type.MutexGuard.html?utm_source=openai))
- **`block2::RcBlock::new`:** Its published signature requires `Closure: IntoBlock<...>`; it does **not** explicitly require the closure to be `Send` or `Sync`. The `block2` docs also state that thread-safe blocks aren’t represented, so APIs requiring one must be `unsafe`. Separately, `RcBlock` itself is `!Send` and `!Sync`. ([docs.rs](https://docs.rs/block2/latest/block2/struct.RcBlock.html))
**Practical implication:** A closure capturing a `MutexGuard` may satisfy `RcBlock::new`’s closure bound, but that does not make the block thread-safe or transferable. The exact closure conversion bound comes from `IntoBlock`; the cited `new` signature itself adds no `Send + Sync` requirement. ([docs.rs](https://docs.rs/block2/latest/block2/struct.RcBlock.html))

Keep the serial lease through a timed-out callback.
wait can return TimedOut while the DeviceCheck callback still runs. That drops _serial and allows the next attest call to overlap the unfinished operation, violating the process-wide serialization requirement.
Transfer a thread-safe completion lease to the outstanding callback and return it only after that operation completes. The earlier Arc<MutexGuard> correction is not valid with the current parking_lot features because its guard is not Send. A callback that never arrives can block later calls indefinitely; that is the unavoidable consequence of preserving the documented no-overlap invariant, while the timed-out caller can still return after ANSWER_WITHIN.

This pull request only moves this module from lib.rs into ios.rs, unchanged, so the behaviour stands on main as well. Holding the serial lease until the DeviceCheck callback completes changes how attestation behaves on the device and needs its own fix proven on an iPhone, so it is left for that and not changed here.

@LucaCappelletti94 Understood. This is a pre-existing concern, not a merge blocker for #149. The fix belongs in a separate PR with validation on an iPhone.

SonarCloud has reported 0.0% coverage on new code for every pull request, because it never received a coverage report: the Sonar workflow scanned on its own and only Codecov got the shards' measurements. Its built-in gate then fails any pull request with 20 or more new coverable lines, as it does on #141.
Each coverage shard now also writes its llvm-cov data as LCOV, and the SonarQube scan moves into the coverage workflow as a job that waits for the three shards and imports their reports, on pull requests and on pushes to main alike. The scan's result therefore arrives with coverage, about an hour after a push.
Code no Linux test can reach, the Android, iOS, Windows and macOS platform files, the browser store, the wasm crate and the examples, now stays out of both tools' coverage through one matching list in codecov.yml and sonar-project.properties, measured as the tracked sources a Linux workspace check never compiles. To keep App Attest's Linux stub measured, its inline iOS module moves to its own file first.
SonarCloud had no coverage report, so it reported zero coverage on new code and could fail pull requests when new coverable lines crossed its gate. The coverage workflow now supplies LCOV reports from all three coverage shards and runs the scan only after every shard passes.
Linux coverage cannot reach some platform-specific and browser code, examples, and the wasm crate. Matching exclusions prevent Codecov and SonarCloud from treating that code as uncovered. The iOS App Attest implementation is separate from the Linux stub so the stub remains measured.
