It seems that minimessage 5+ is not working properly on MC version 1.21.11 - but needs deeper investigation if it's not caused by something else. The issue is that any message sent by DM is not being displayed to a player. |

The adventure-bukkit project was discontinued. We use that project to send messages on Spigot and Paper servers. PR #228 migrates from using the Spigot API to using the Paper API. That directly fixes the messages not being shown since adventure is built into Paper now and is updated there. |
