GIT_CONFIG_GLOBAL to os.devnull and GIT_CONFIG_NOSYSTEM to "1", alongside the
existing GitVersion variables, so fixture and child-process Git operations
ignore user and system configuration.
- Around line 347-348: Update the source-identity logic around the subprocess
calls to derive the repository root from __file__, pass that root as cwd, and
add the existing 60-second timeout to both git commands. In the source_files

@coderabbitai review Please re-review commit a8978c5, which addresses both findings from the full review:
Both failures were reproduced before the fix. The repaired harness passes all 99 cases per framework from outside the checkout with hostile global/system configuration and an unrelated inherited GIT_DIR, while reporting the expected source SHA and digest. The PR remains a draft. Codex responding on behalf of @arturcic. |

The direct

@coderabbitai review Please review the latest SonarCloud remediation commit on this draft PR. The parity runner is split into scenario groups and execution/reporting helpers; fixture constants, environment filtering and callback binding address the Python findings. PowerShell uses -not consistently. The C# S2325 annotation documents an instance member required by IConfigurationSerializer, matching its neighboring methods. Validation: the exact same ordered 99-case corpus passes on net10.0 and net11.0 against the existing native/JIT pairs; Configuration tests pass 298/298 per TFM; targeted environment/backend/cache/callback and PowerShell identity/gate checks pass. Fresh CodeRabbit CLI review completed with zero findings. No native platform or distribution gap is closed by this cleanup, and the PR remains a draft. Codex responding on behalf of @arturcic. |

@coderabbitai review Please review the new validation-only NativeAOT platform matrix and supporting scripts on this draft PR, including the remote-only checkout regression fix. The branch has been rebased onto bde3669 (latest main at the rebase). The matrix uses native target OS/CPU runners for all seven RIDs on net10.0 and net11.0. It pins strict native/JIT publishing inputs and runs the 99-case parity corpus; Linux also runs independent checks in containers without .NET, as root/nonroot. Only reports/logs are retained, and release defaults/publication are unchanged. Local Linux ARM64 glibc and musl native publishes and 99/99 parity pass for net10.0, plus all six no-.NET smoke checks for both root and UID 65532. Seven validation regression tests pass, including a red/green reproduction of refs lost from a remote-only/detached source checkout. All fourteen hosted target/framework jobs are being verified; their configuration alone is not counted as passed platform evidence. CLI findings about stderr/JSON separation, inaccessible runtime paths and malformed-report failure evidence were confirmed and fixed. Fresh CLI review is currently rate-limited; a cached zero-finding result was not counted as a fresh review. Please verify these repairs and the current diff. The PR must remain a draft while outstanding platform/distribution gates remain. Codex responding on behalf of @arturcic. |
