Brings #341 to the 7.0.x branch for the 7.0.2 patch release. It fixes #281: when several requests with the same token wait on one in-flight introspection call and that call throws, the waiting requests no longer get the exception too. That call only throws when it's cancelled (for example by the backchannel HttpClient timeout) or when an event handler or client setup throws; HTTP and network errors already come back as an error response. Now the request that started the call gets its own failure, and each request that was waiting retries once with a call of its own.

Backport: cherry-picked the squash commit of #341 from main with -x, no conflicts. The tests needed the _ct field from main's Introspection test class, which 7.0.x doesn't have, so I added it.
