CLI publication uploaded @dealmachine/cli@0.5.0 but failed because npm processing exceeded the ten-second verification window. Recovery then stopped on a dropped registry connection before publishing the alias. This allows up to three minutes for publication visibility, retries interrupted registry reads with fresh connections, and preserves source, integrity, alias dependency and channel checks.
Validation: both new regression cases failed with the previous behavior and pass with the repair.
npm run checkpasses all 98 tests;npm run test:packagepasses both clean consumer installs.npm run release:auto:dry-runselects and validates the matching 0.5.1 package pair without publishing.Observed failures: initial publication, recovery.
Work: WORK-524.
