A beautiful Android app that sets a new Bible verse as your lock screen wallpaper every day.
Bible Lock Screen is already available on F-Droid and IzzyOnDroid, and now I'm bringing it to Google Play too. Google requires every new app to pass a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before it can be published, and that's where you come in.
It costs you nothing, takes about two minutes, and you don't need to do anything else afterwards.
| Step | ||
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Join the tester group – open the link and tap Join group with the same Google account you use on your phone's Play Store. This is required, otherwise the test page says you're not invited. | 👉 Join the group |
| 2 | Become a tester – once you're in the group, open the test page and tap Become a tester. | 👉 Become a tester |
| 3 | Install the app – download it from Google Play, just like any other app. | 👉 Open on Google Play |
| 4 | Keep it installed for 14 days. That's it, opening it now and then is a bonus! 💜 |
Tip
If the test page still says you're not invited, make sure you joined the group with the same Google account as on your phone, then wait a few minutes and try again.
Note
Thank you so much, every single tester gets this app one step closer to more people. ❤️
- Choose Your Photo: Select any image from your gallery to serve as the perfect canvas.
- Customize the Verse: Use our powerful editor to make the text look exactly how you want. Match the color to your background, choose a font that speaks to you, and position it perfectly.
- Activate & Enjoy: Turn on the daily automation. The app handles the rest, fetching the new verse and refreshing your wallpaper every morning.
You are in complete control. Whether you prefer a minimalist, clean style or a bold, expressive design, Bible Lock Screen gives you the tools to create it.
- Daily Bible verse — a new verse automatically appears on your lock screen every day at a time you choose
- Add your own verse - apply custom verse text and references instead of using the "Verse of the Day."
- Fully customizable text — adjust font size, width, color, transparency, boldness, shadow, and font style
- Background blur — apply a blur effect to your chosen photo for a cleaner look
- Live wallpaper preview — drag and resize the text widget directly in the app before applying
- Multi-language support — verses available in Slovak, Czech, English, and more
- Material You theming — supports dynamic colors, light/dark mode, and system theme
- Works offline — all verses are bundled locally, no internet required
