We should cover basic git understanding and workflow. Use the intro to git course content (git submodule?) for this.

This is part of effort to create the BAS training course, https://github.com/Cambridge-ICCS/ICCS_Training_Provision/issues/6

    Expand on git/version control to cover basics:

    • Add/Commit workflow
    • Atomic commits
    • branches
    • worktrees (already in course)

    We may be able to reuse the slides from https://github.com/Cambridge-ICCS/Summer-school-Intro-Git here, so will try that first before writing from scratch.
