What

On phones and in the desktop analysis panel, each column has a one-line title. Since the model became Maia-3, "Maia-3 1600: Human Moves" is 235 px wide at 14 px. Its column is only 180–215 px, so the title ran into "SF 19: Engine Moves".

Change

  • Columns stay equal, half each.
  • Both titles share one font size, set by the panel's width: min(2.85cqi, 14px), with the column row as a size container (cqi is 1% of its width). That's about 10 px in the narrowest panel (a 360-px phone, or a 1280-px desktop window) and 12 px on a 430-px phone. It is sized so the longer Maia title fits its half.
  • Menu arrow: the ▾ sits right after the Maia title instead of at the edge of the cell. Clicking anywhere on the title opens the model menu.
  • Unchanged: the wider split layout.

(Earlier commits tried two lines, then unequal columns. You asked for one line, equal columns and one size, so the last commit does that.)

Checked

With Maia-3 1600 picked (the longest title), I compared the live site with a production build of this branch (loadperf/tools/col-titles2.mjs). The table shows each title's width against its cell.

Window Font Maia title / cell (before → after) SF title / cell
Phone 360 10.3 px 235 / 179 ✗ → 174 / 179 ✓ 143 / 180 ✓
Phone 390 11.1 px 235 / 194 ✗ → 188 / 194 ✓ 153 / 195 ✓
Phone 430 12.3 px 235 / 214 ✗ → 207 / 214 ✓ 166 / 215 ✓
Desktop 1280 10.4 px 235 / 182 ✗ → 177 / 182 ✓ 145 / 183 ✓
Desktop 1440 11.0 px 235 / 192 ✗ → 187 / 192 ✓ 152 / 193 ✓
Desktop 1920 11.8 px 235 / 206 ✗ → 200 / 206 ✓ 161 / 207 ✓

Widths are in pixels. tsc, eslint and the Analysis tests pass.

On phones and in the desktop analysis panel, each column's title was one
line: "Maia-3 1600: Human Moves" no longer fit in its column (about 195px)
once the name became Maia-3, and ran into "SF 19: Engine Moves" beside it.
Each title is now the model ("Maia-3 1600", "SF 19 d20") over a smaller
"Human Moves" / "Engine Moves", which fits at any width. The wider split
layout and the home page's panel are unchanged.

Back to one line, as before the previous commit, but fitting: in panels
from 360px wide (a 360px phone, or a 1280px desktop window), "Maia-3 1600:
Human Moves" was 235px wide in a 180-215px column and ran into "SF 19:
Engine Moves".

- The titles' size follows the panel's width (cqi, 1% of it): 11px at
  360px wide, 12px at 1440 desktop, up to 14px.
- The Maia column, whose title is longer, gets 56% of the width.
- The model menu's arrow sits right after the title instead of at the
cell's edge; the whole title cell opens the menu.
