While addressing #144, an agent followed the old AI policy in the topic branch even though #152 had already replaced it on the target branch.

Require agents to read CONTRIBUTING.md and docs/developer/AI_POLICY.md from the PR's current target branch before acting. Explicitly allow AI-written PR descriptions and review replies under the merged tool-neutral policy, while keeping publication within the user's authorized scope.

This applies the exact AGENTS.md patch approved by the maintainer. Only AGENTS.md changes. Reviewed the diff, verified the referenced repository paths, and passed git diff --check; application tests are not applicable.

Refs #144 and #152.

Old topic branches can retain superseded contribution rules, as happened while addressing PR #144 after #152 merged. Require agents to consult the current target-branch contributor guide and AI policy before acting on a PR.

State that the tool-neutral policy permits AI-written descriptions and review replies while keeping publication within the user-authorized scope. The maintainer explicitly approved this AGENTS.md patch.

Validation: reviewed the exact approved patch, checked referenced local paths, and ran git diff --check. Documentation only; application tests are not applicable. Refs #144 and #152.

Looks good but we should update this when v1 merges to master.
