Document the gas sponsorship order (plan budget, gas balance, the account itself), the plans and their budgets, topping up the gas balance, low and empty alerts, self-pay behavior, and the gasPaidBy field. The gas balance is in beta behind the gas-account flag.
… earn Replace the stale Gas sponsorship section on /transactions with a pointer, add the Settings > Gas row and role visibility, note the automation skip and the Earn to plan link, add the sidebar entry, and register the canonical home.

Why
The "Gas sponsorship" section on
/transactionsdescribed an Earn-tier stipend that no longer exists and said the remaining stipend could not be viewed. The gas balance project (Linear PE-8946, project "Gas account") shipped plan budgets, a prepaid gas balance, a Settings > Gas tab, low-gas alerts, and a per-transaction payer label. The docs now match the code on0xSplits/splitsand0xSplits/splits-teamsmaster as of 2026-10-21.What changed

Three product copy mismatches surfaced while writing and are for product, not this PR: the low alert copy names the gas balance but the threshold is plan budget plus balance, the empty state reuses the "running low" email subject, and the app says "workspace" where the email subject reads " workspace gas running low".Verification
